Morgan City, La., headquartered Conrad Shipyard recently hosted a ceremony at its Deepwater shipyard in Amelia, La., to mark the laying of the keel of a 6,500 cubic yard trailing suction hopper dredge under construction for Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company (GLDD). Delivery of the dredge is scheduled before the end of first quarter 2023.
