Walvis Bay box terminal almost completed

The new container terminal at Namibia’s Walvis Bay which was constructed by Chinese company is 96 percent complete, Namport Manager of Corporate Communications Tana Pesat said Wednesday, May 8.

Namibia’s container terminal to be commissioned in August

Namibia’s new container terminal at the coastal town of Walvis Bay which was constructed by a Chinese company will be commissioned on August 1 this year, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Walvis Bay Corridor Group Clive Smith told reporters in the capital Windhoek on Monday, March 4.
