ContainerPort Group expands Southern California dray network with acquisition

ContainerPort Group announced that its parent, World Group, has acquired Dray Alliance, making the combined operation one of the largest dray providers to the Southern California ports.

Founded in 2018, Long Beach, California-based Dray Alliance provides end-to-end drayage management in the Los Angeles and Long Beach markets. The addition of Dray Alliance expands ContainerPort Group’s carrier network and improves its technology platform with enhanced real-time tracking and other automation tools.

ContainerPort Group sells container yard, depot division to ITS ConGlobal

Cleveland-headquartered ContainerPort Group (CPG) will sell its container yard and depot division to ITS ConGlobal (ITSC), the company said Tuesday.

The sale by CPG, a drayage trucking and logistics company, also entails transferring the container sales division and a rail lift operation in Indiana that connects to CN (NYSE: CNI) to ITSC. The transaction is expected to close March 15.

ContainerPort Group adds FSI Inc. to portfolio

FSI to operate as CPG on Jan. 1

Trucking and intermodal drayage company ContainerPort Group announced that end-to-end intermodal provider FSI Inc. and its independent contractors will transition to the CPG brand on Jan. 1.
