Ribcraft awarded multiple contracts for California

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife recently took delivery of two new Ribcraft 5.85s. Delivered to the southern district which covers all of Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles and San Diego counties, the new Ribcraft will be operated by one or two wardens for patrol and enforcement operations. At just over 19′, these RIBs can be easily trailered and launched while still delivering open water performance along the Southern California coast.

Canada wants to build six new icebreakers

The Canadian coast guard provides critical icebreaking services to ensure commercial ships and ferries have access to Canadian ports during the winter and supports summer re-supply activities in Canada’s Arctic. To ensure the coast guard can continue to deliver these essential services, Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian coast guard, announced that the service will be procuring six new program icebreakers to replace its current aging fleet of icebreakers.

Harvey Gulf still looking for partner, signs new contracts
