COSCO general cargo vessels to call ICTSI’s Contecon Guayaquil

Contecon Guayaquil S.A. (CGSA), the Ecuadorian branch of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), has entered into a noteworthy agreement with COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers.

This partnership will see COSCO’s general cargo ships managed at the Port of Guayaquil for the next three years.

This collaboration supports CGSA’s goals of broadening its client base, setting new regional service standards, and solidifying the Port of Guayaquil’s role as Ecuador’s premier logistics hub....

COSCO SHIPPING issues first flat rack e-bill of lading for vehicle customer

COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers announced the successful issuance of its first flat rack Electronic Bill of Lading from China to Mexico for its customer ChanganAutomobile.

“This milestone marks a significant step forward in the digitization of the shipping industry,” pointed out COSCO.

Last week, COSCO SHIPPING Grace transported vehicles using flat racks that were designed and manufactured by the COSCO team, from Taicang, China to Puerto Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico.

Cosco unit wins business from world’s largest PV solar project

The Al Dhafra PV2 solar project in Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest single-site photovoltaic plant, has awarded Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers (CSSC) a nine-month contract to ship photovoltaic modules, transformers and related cargo in containers.
