Puerto Rico terminal joint venture stays the course

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) said an amendment to a joint venture agreement between two marine terminals at the Port of San Juan in Puerto Rico will become effective today.

Crowley to install FleetXpress on a majority of its vessels

Following successful trials on the Aframax tanker California in Alaska, and on the recently reflagged containership Rio Grande Express, Crowley Maritime Corp. has agreed a contract to install Inmarsat’s Fleet Xpress high-speed broadband service on a majority of its vessels.
