Canada’s CSL Group has entered a 20-year strategic partnership with Australia’s Adelaide Brighton Cement Ltd. (Adbri) to build and operate the world’s first fully-electric battery capable self-unloading vessel. The custom-designed battery self-unloader will replace Adbri’s Accolade II.

Canada Steamship Lines (CSL) reports that following its delivery by Chengxi Shipyard, its new purpose-designed self-unloader, M/V Nukumi sailed from Jiangyin, China, yesterday on its delivery voyage to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
