CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping has agreed a sale and leaseback deal with Sinokor Merchant Marine.
CSSC Shipping said that the LNG carrier would be converted into a floating storage re-gasification unit (FSRU).
The loan would be used to finance four new LR1 product tankers being built at Guangzhou Shipyard.
On August 20, the company confirmed it received a financing letter from an undisclosed bank in relation to the loan.
