DB Schenker opens air cargo route between China and Germany

On 7 January, DB Schenker launched a new Ezhou-Frankfurt regular cargo route with the inaugural flight of a Boeing 777 freighter from the Chinese Ezhou Huahu International Airport to Frankfurt, Germany.

Global logistics provider DSV posted earnings growth on higher volume and gross profit in the third quarter, its first year-on-year gains since 2022.

Deutsche Bahn’s Supervisory Board approves DB Schenker sale

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bahn AG gave the green light to the sale of DB Schenker to the Danish transport and logistics company DSV at a meeting on 2 October.

At the same time, the federal government granted the approval required for the transaction under the Federal Budget Code (BHO).

Schenker sale to DSV approved

The supervisory board of Germany’s Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) on Wednesday approved the sale of forwarder Schenker to Danish logistics group DSV.

Report: DSV wins Schenker bidding

Schenker has been sold, but not to the U.S. private equity group vying for control of the German logistics provider.

Transport provider DSV of Denmark has emerged as the winning bidder, Reuters reported, in a deal worth 14 billion euros ($15.43 billion).

DSV wins DB Schenker acquisition race

According to a latest Reuters report, Danish logistics firm DSV will acquire Deutsche Bahn’s rail logistics arm DB Schenker.

The transcation cost will amount around US$15.5 billion and the contract will be signed in the next days, after the deal receives the approval by Deutsche Bahn’s supervisory board.
