Ryder adds last-mile distribution hubs in Nashville, Boise

Ryder System, one of the largest providers of last-mile delivery services for big and bulky goods, announced Tuesday that it has expanded its last-mile network, adding regional distribution hubs in the Nashville, Tennessee, and Boise, Idaho, areas.

Staxxon's folding shipping containers can fold five in the space of one.

Local union freight workers were among those New Jersey-based Staxxon approached for initial feedback on its shipping containers that fold and bundle for space-saving storage.

After reporting strong fourth-quarter and fiscal year 2021 earnings earlier this week, one of America’s largest retailers is setting its sights on delivery to grow even more.

BJ’s latest retailer to secure its own capacity, acquiring assets from Burris Logistics

In what is quickly becoming a growing trend, another major retailer is acquiring a transportation provider to help secure its supply chain.

BJ’s Wholesale Club announced it is acquiring four refrigerated distribution centers and the related private fleet of longtime transportation partner Burris Logistics.

GXO to open, operate Arizona DC for Abercrombie & Fitch

GXO Logistics will open a “highly automated” distribution center in Goodyear, Arizona, for customer Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
