Once again the Greek captains prove their manoeuvring skills. So even at dawn, the captains of Samos Island and Blue Star Myconos made really impressive manoeuvres in the port of Chios. The two ships moored side by side within breathing distance, safely unloading passengers and vehicles.

Carnival Cruise Line’s new Mardi Gras is shown in the video below, departing on its sea trials on 28th September (Monday) morning from the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland.

After the successful sea test of Carnival Mardi Gras, the vessel returned to the shipyard (on Monday), and work on it continued. Watch the sheer magnificence of the newbuild vessel in the stupendous drone video below:

Drone Shots Of Ro-RoPassenger Ship Maneuvering At Mesta Port

The left-facing maneuver of the Greek Star Star Chios in the port of Mesta with Cpt. Giannis Sigalas. Blue Star Chios inaugurated the new summer route Piraeus-Mykonos-Mesta-Sigri Lesvos on Saturday, bringing 347 passengers and 107 cars.

It is the only daily route from Piraeus to Chios for this summer. This is the first time that Chios is connected to Mykonos in less than 3 hours. It is the first mass arrival of tourists in Chios for this summer.

It is 194 m long, 20 m wide, 80 m high and 5.09 m high. It has 5 masts with 7 sails and 8 decks. Chios sailed on Tuesday 27/8/2019 with 310 passengers.
