South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) has won a contract for the construction of two LNG carriers worth around $500 million (KRW 710 billion), reports Offshore Energy.
Each vessel has secured a price of $250 million, a record vaue for local shipbuilders, Yonhap reports citing DSME.
