CLdN to expand Dublin services

Luxembourg-based provider of logistics solutions CLdN expanded its Irish Sea services, after the decision by Dublin Port Company (DPC) to grant CLdN a license to use the port’s Terminal 5.

In September, DPC called for proposals from interested ferry lines to service west coast English or Welsh ports out of Dublin following confirmation that P&O (which operated from Terminal 5 in Dublin Port) would exit the Dublin-Liverpool route by year end.

Dublin Port commences public consultation on Masterplan

Dublin Port has opened a formal public consultation on the 3FM Project, the third and final Masterplan project required to finish the growth of the Irish port and bring it to its ultimate and final capacity by 2040.

The 3FM project will produce 20% of the capacity needed by 2040 by focusing on Dublin Port lands on the Poolbeg Peninsula on the south side of the port.

Dublin Port’s masterplan to add more than 600,000TEU capacity

Dublin Port Company (DPC) has announced the 3FM Project, the third and final Masterplan project to complete the development of Dublin Port in its ultimate and final capacity by 2040.

The 3FM is expected to deliver 20% of the capacity required by 2040 on one-fifth of Dublin Port’s lands located on the Poolbeg Peninsula, at an estimated cost of US$451.3 million (€400 million).
