Damen unveils new offshore charging concept

Offering a way to cut emissions during the operating phase of an offshore wind farm, Damen Shipyards Group has developed a new concept for offshore charging. The system envisages a fully electric crew transfer vessel (CTV) that can charge at either a turbine, or a Damen commissioning service operations vessel (CSOV) outfitted with a charger.
