Industry task force wins double AiP for ammonia-fueled containership design

A design for an ammonia-fueled containership has been awarded Approval in Principle by classification societies ABS and Lloyd’s Register (LR). The design has been developed by a cross-industry task force led by the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping and whose other members include A. P. Møller-Mærsk, MAN Energy Solutions, Deltamarin, Eltronic FuelTech, and the two classification societies.
