Mabanaft, an independent and integrated energy company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fairplay Towage Group, one of Europe’s largest tugboat operators.
The deal is about the supply of hydrogen to Fairplay Towage Group’s new tugs in the Port of Hamburg from 2025.
Fairplay Towage intends to add tugboats to its fleet in the German port capable of running on hydrogen.
