Bollinger Shipyards gets order for four more Fast Response Cutters

The U.S. Coast Guard has awarded Bollinger Shipyards LLC four additional 154’x25′ Sentinel-Class Fast Response Cutters (FRC). Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding, Duclos Corporation has delivered a second high-speed passenger ferry to Rhode Island Fast Ferry Inc., Quonset Point, R.I. Austal USA gets $40 million Navy award for fast transport vessel

The U.S. Navy has awarded Austal USA an undefinitized contract action (UCA), valued at $40.3 million, to fund the acquisition of long lead-time material (LLTM) and production engineering associated with the construction of a 103-meter Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) to be designated EPF 14.
