Fastfrate Group and CPKC railway announced Tuesday the renewal and expansion of their agreement that provides intermodal and drayage services across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

The five-year agreement aims to improve and speed up North America’s supply chain, while tapping into growing cross-border trade among the three countries, especially the automotive industry, Fastfrate officials said.

Fastfrate acquires Challenger, becoming one of Canada’s biggest cross-border trucking operators

Canadian transport and logistics company Fastfrate Group said Thursday it has acquired a controlling stake in Canadian truckload and logistics provider Challenger Group for an undisclosed sum.

The transaction, which will combine two old-line, Toronto-based companies with about CA$1 billion in annual revenue, dramatically expands Fastfrate’s cross-border trucking exposure, CEO Manny Calandrino said in a phone interview.

Canada’s Fastfrate buys cross-border logistics provider ASL

Fastfrate Group announced its acquisition of ASL Distribution Services.

Canadian trucking and logistics company Fastfrate Group has acquired third-party logistics provider ASL Distribution Services in a deal that dramatically expands its cross-border e-commerce business.

Fastfrate announced the acquisition on Tuesday and said it will boost annual revenue by CA$120 million ($94 million) in 2021. The deal adds 13 terminals and final-mile hubs in New York and Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba in Canada.

Fastfrate wades into US cross-border trucking after Bestway acquisition

A tractor-trailer of Canadian carrier Fastfrate - which plans to grow its new cross-border trucking business after a recent acquisition.

Canadian transportation and logistics firm Fastfrate Group has acquired small cross-border carrier Bestway in the first step in an ambitious plan to expand its reach in the United States.
