The staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has prepared a final environmental impact statement (FEIS) for the Texas LNG Project proposed by Texas LNG Brownsville, LLC (Texas LNG).

Texas LNG requests authorization under Section 3(a) of the Natural Gas Act and Part 153 of the Commission’s regulations to site, construct, and operate an LNG terminal to liquefy and export natural gas at a proposed site on the Brownsville Ship Channel in Cameron County, Texas.

FERC authorizes Louisiana LNG export project and associated pipeline

Venture Global LNG Inc. announced last week that the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued the order granting authorizations under Sections 3 and 7 of the Natural Gas Act for the company’s Venture Global Calcasieu Pass LNG export facility and associated TransCameron Pipeline in Cameron Parish, La.

USCG approves first Cameron LNG export

USCG wrapped up a safety inspection at the Cameron Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project, enabling it to move on to loading its first LNG cargo for global export.  Cameron LNG also submitted its Marine Operations Manual and Emergency Manual to the Coast Guard for examination.

Specifically, USCG also got a detailed look on the terminal’s design, construction, equipment, operations, maintenance, personnel training and firefighting systems.
