HMM, FESCO expand cooperation

HMM announced that it will expand cooperation with FESCO.

HMM has been jointly operating a China-Korea-Russia weekly service, under the name of ‘CRN (China Russia North Service)’ with FESCO and CMA CGM.

With the expansion of cooperation, the current CRN will be reorganized and two of new direct services connecting Korea and Russia, named ‘KR2 (Korea Russia Service 2)’ and ‘KRS (Korea Russia Service)’, will be introduced in the service network of HMM.

FESCO Transportation Group (FESCO) and RZD Logistics JSC have agreed to organize a joint multimodal service for the delivery of containerized cargo from the Asia-Pacific region (APR) to Europe through the Commercial Port of Vladivostok (VMTP, part of FESCO) by the Trans-Siberian railway. Record-breaking year for Russia’s Fesco triggers new rail links with China

Russian transport operator Fesco ramped up container throughput in 2018, recording surging financials and record-breaking volumes for the year.
Following the 18% upturn in container volumes, it has announced a cooperation agreement with Russian Export Center (REC) and Rail Cargo Logistics, to boost links between Siberia and China.

FESCO sets up a new vessel on China-Russia service

FESCO Transportation Group (FESCO) sets up a new vessel to operate on a regular service FESCO China Direct Line (FCDL), connecting the ports of China and Russian Far East. On February 14, 2019 the container ship FESCO Dalnegorsk moved to operations on this line.

FESCO enhances its China-Russia services

FESCO Transportation Group (the Group, FESCO) is launching a weekly container train from Yiwu, a city in Zhejiang province, China, to Moscow via Mongolia, thus expanding the geography of inland services between China and Russia.

The first train with imported cargo was launched on December 29, 2018. It arrives at its destination on January 11, 2019. The total tranzit time is 14 days, which is 3 times faster than through the Suez Canal.

TransContainer acquires 25% of FESCO

FESCO Transportation Group (“FESCO”, the “Group”) announced yesterday (Oct. 23) that the Group’s companies have completed the sale of their 25.1% stake in PJSC TransContainer. 24.8% of the TransContainer stock was purchased by VTB Bank, another 0.3% was purchased by a third-party investor.

The funds received from the deal will be allocated for reduction of the Group’s indebtedness, including the repayment of REPO loan which was secured against the TransContainer stake.
