Response Time Critical in Fighting a Fire Accident

It has become known, that the ship suffered a fire on board on Nov 23, which was extinguished by crew, but understood, the tanker was disabled, in need of towage, reports Maritime Bulletin.

Trawler Evacuated & Moored To Fight Fire

A fire erupted on board of Russian reefer trawler KAMCHATKA HARVEST south of Tongyeong port, east coast of South Korea, in the afternoon Oct 28, shortly after trawler left Tongyeong, and was sailing in southern direction, reports Maritime Bulletin.

Reportedly, all 30 crew or majority of the crew, were evacuated by Coast Guard, the trawler was taken back to port and moored, to fight the fire.

Fire erupts in a cargo ship during maintenance repairs at Taipei, writes Mikhail Voytenko for Maritime Bulletin.

Fire erupted on board of cargo ship YINGARA, berthed at Taipei Taiwan, in the afternoon Aug 26.

The ship was undergoing maintenance repairs, and some chemical on cargo deck was incidentally ignited.
