USCG launches pollution response for fire-stricken yacht

Following the fire that erupted onboard the “Andiamo” yacht, the USCG is now monitoring the situation to prevent any potential pollution on Watson Island, while also opened the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund.

Ro-Ro cargo ship catches fire off Tuscany

A fire took place in the engine room of the Grimaldi-owned Ro-Ro cargo ship, Eurocargo Trieste, on November the 21st. The incident took place while the vessel was transiting off the coast of Tuscany.

A fire erupted onboard the Sierra Leone-flagged bulk carrier Yong Shun in the morning hours of Thursday while the ship was underway about 6 nautical miles south of Vung Tau Vietnam.

Fire on coastal oil tanker off Singapore

On Thursday, November 7, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) stated that a fire broke out aboard the Panama-flagged tanker ‘HOYU’ around 9.7 nautical miles from Pedra Branca, within Singapore waters.
