FitzMark expands brokerage platform in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Indianapolis-based third-party logistics provider FitzMark announced Monday the acquisition of the brokerage operations from sister companies Riverside Transport (RTI) and Transco Lines (TLI). With an existing brokerage business in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the acquisition is expected to further bolster FitzMark’s footprint in the market.

FitzMark sells majority interest to private equity firm

FitzMark recapitalization allows 3PL to focus on growth

FitzMark announced the completion of a majority recapitalization with Calera Capital, in which the private equity firm has acquired a majority interest.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Indianapolis-based third-party logistics provider has been very active acquiring brokerage shops in recent months, suggesting the proceeds from the recapitalization will likely be earmarked for future acquisitions.

FitzMark inks third deal of 2020

Indianapolis-based third-party logistics provider FitzMark announced Tuesday the acquisition of Fetch Logistics. The deal expands FitzMark’s network to five brokerage offices with 225 employees. Including Fetch, FitzMark projects consolidated revenue to be $300 million annually.

FitzMark buys Manning’s, its third 3PL acquisition in less than 2 years

FitzMark, a 3PL company based in Indianapolis, has made its third acquisition in less than two years, moving deeper into the agriculture sector by buying Manning’s Truck Brokerage.

The price was not disclosed. The sellers of Omaha, Nebraska-based Manning’s were the two private equity companies that had it in their portfolio, Optimal Investment Group and Resurgent Capital Partners.
