The Maritime Administration (Marad) announced that TOTE Services LLC, has selected Philly Shipyard Inc., Philadelphia, to construct the newest class of training ship, the 524’5″x88’7″x55′ National Security Multi-Mission Vessel (NSMV). McDonough Marine Service announced this week the acquisition of 23 barges from Houma, La.-based J.R. Gray Inc. in an all cash buyout.
