Maersk, Export Congestion Fee in Costa Rica

Considering current ongoing strike in some ports of Costa Rica, which is beyond its control, and the impact on productivity and increased costs, Maersk Line is introducing an Export Congestion Fee (CFD) for ALL Export Cargo from Puerto Moin and Puerto Limon (Costa Rica), effective 29th September for Non-Regulated corridors and 21stOctober for Regulated Corridors.

The surcharge amount is detailed as follows:

CF=: USD 200 / 400 for 20’/40’ (both DRY and REEF)
