GEODIS opens new temperature-controlled warehouse in Germany

Global logistics service provider GEODIS officially put a new 700m² temperature-controlled location, with an integrated cooling area in Rodgau, Germany into operation.

GEODIS opens new Schiphol-Rijk temperature controlled facility

Global logistics provider GEODIS officially started the operation of its new 5,500 m² site in Schiphol on 6 October providing services to the pharma and healthcare sectors.

GEODIS and Sephora inaugurate new distribution center in Shanghai

GEODIS and Sephora, one of the world’s largest omnichannel prestige beauty retailers, have announced the opening of a distribution centre (DC) in Shanghai’s Minhang District, China.

The 20,000 m² facility’s ceremonial opening was held on 11 October. The centre, which will be managed by GEODIS, will be important in improving Sephora’s customer experience as well as supporting the company’s fast-growing e-commerce operations and sales in its stores across China, according to a statement.

GEODIS appoints new chief strategy officer

GEODIS, a global transportation and logistics company, announced the appointment of Xavier Avrard as chief strategy officer. He will join the Group’s Management Board, which will be chaired by Marie-Christine Lombard, chief executive officer of GEODIS.
