Geodis, a global transport and logistics provider, has announced two significant leadership appointments within its management team.

Eric Martin-Neuville has been named Executive Vice-President for Asia-Pacific & Middle East, while Henri Le Gouis has been appointed Executive Vice-President for Global Freight Forwarding.

Both will continue to serve as members of the Geodis Group’s Management Board, chaired by Marie-Christine Lombard, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

GEODIS begins trial for urban electric truck in partnership with Renault Trucks

GEODIS has launched the test phase for “Oxygen,” an urban electric truck developed in collaboration with Renault Trucks since 2022.

The trials, aimed at proving the vehicle’s effectiveness, will take place in Lyon, France from 9 September to 4 October, and in Paris from 21 October to 22 November 2024. This real-world testing focuses on using the truck for downtown deliveries and evaluating its performance and benefits.

iiyama extends multi-year partnership with GEODIS

Global display solutions manufacturer iiyama has renewed its partnership with GEODIS Netherlands by awarding them a third multi-year contract.

This agreement strengthens the collaboration that began in 2018, with GEODIS continuing to act as iiyama’s global distribution centre.

Layoffs continue across the freight and logistics industry, with companies in California, Georgia, Illinois, New York and Texas announcing job reductions and facility closures in recent weeks.

Geodis expands rail freight network with Poland-Spain connection
