Geodis opens new cross-dock facility for Europe’s major home furnishings retail chain in Poland

Conforama, a French home furnishings retailer, has teamed with Geodis to open a cross-dock facility and coordinate the supply of its items, which are manufactured and assembled at 20 locations in Poland, Romania, and Slovakia before being shipped to its 167 retail shops across France.

The new cross-dock 51,000 m² facility meets all of Conforama’s requirements and has the potential to be expanded by 17,000 m².

GEODIS opens new facility in Germany

GEODIS has officially put a newly built multi-user logistics facility into operation in Aurach, Germany in the district of Ansbach.

Geodis launches air zone skipping for US firms shipping to Canada

Geodis has launched a new air zone skip service to facilitate faster direct-to-customer cross-border delivery for U.S. e-commerce firms shipping to Canada.

GEODIS to open new warehouse in Sweden

Supply chain provider GEODIS extends its contract logistics capabilities in Sweden with the addition of a 20,000 m² warehouse close to its existing facility at Arendal, near Gothenburg.
