IMF: Rising ocean shipping costs to bring wave of higher prices

Will extreme weather become more frequent by midcentury?

El Nino — the unusual warming of surface waters in the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean — affects climate, ecosystems and societies worldwide.

A study published earlier this month examined four possible scenarios for future carbon emissions and found an increased risk of El Nino events in all four. Logixboard raises $32M to support freight forwarders’ growth

Seattle-based Logixboard announced Wednesday it has closed on a $32 million series B round led by by Insight Partners with participation from existing investors including Redpoint Ventures, F-Prime Capital, Social Leverage and Founders’ Co-op to continue expanding the capabilities of its white-label platform for freight forwarders and logistics providers.
