Marine Log‘s FERRIES 2021 conference is scheduled to kickoff two months from today for the first in-person ferry event in over 18 months.

Alaska Marine Lines upgrades four rail barges

Four Alaska Marine Lines rail barges are getting upgrades that include new piping and ballast systems designed by Glosten with installation by Meridian Marine Industries.

The first zero-emission, all-electric passenger/vehicle ferry in the U.S. marked its first anniversary this spring after a conversion that cleared a few hurdles.
