Japanese truck maker Hino Motors Ltd. (OTC: HINOF) won’t build any heavy-duty trucks in the U.S. and Canada until the end of September 2021. Its engines fail to meet greenhouse gas and fuel efficiency standards.

Daimler and PGE creating Electric Island for truck charging

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) and Portland General Electric (NYSE: POR) are creating an Electric Island for commercial truck charging that will include fast charging of greater than 1 megawatt by the spring of 2021.
