Kongsberg Maritime retrofit delivers 23% cut in CO2 emissions for Hurtigruten

One year after completing the retrofit of the first of three Hurtigruten Coastal Express ships to hybrid technology, Kongsberg Maritime reports that service results show that the ship, the 121-meter MS Richard With, has achieved a 23% cut in CO2 emissions.

Hedda Felin named CEO of Hurtigruten Norway

Hurtigruten Group has appointed Hedda Felin as CEO of Hurtigruten Norway, where she will will assume her new role on March 1, 2021, taking the helm of Hurtigruten’s iconic coastal Norway operations.

The group has reorganized its cruise operations in two different entities: Hurtigruten Expeditions and Hurtigruten Norway, which will, from 2021, operate seven custom-built, smaller cruise ships. Hurtigruten Norway will operate as a separate entity.
