South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has developed a simplified power system for 15,000-TEU container ships, reports The Maritime Executive.

Hyundai Heavy Industries launched a simplified power system to be used by 15,000 TEU containerships, and received Approval in Principle by DNV GL.

DNV GL Awards HHI World’s First AiP For Cyber Secure Class Notation On LPG Carriers

DNV GL has awarded Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) the world’s first Approval in Principle (AIP) for the Cyber Secure (Advanced) class notation on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers.

US court fines Hyundai $47 million for selling dirty engines

The US Department of Justice published a statement that Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas Inc. (HCEA) and Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd (HHI) agreed to pay a $47 million civil penalty for violating Title II of the Clean Air Act.
