Avondale Shipyard to morph into Avondale Marine

Avondale Marine LLC, a newly-formed joint venture between Virginia-based T. Parker Host and Illinois-based Hilco Redevelopment Partners, finalized the purchase of the 254-acre property formerly known as Avondale Shipyard from Huntington Ingalls Industries on Oct. 3. Financial terms of Wednesday’s sale were not disclosed.
