The Coast Guard’s advisory panel on offshore safety has completed recommendations for how offshore supply vessels, crewboats and other vessels in the energy industry can be safely put to work assisting in disaster relief.

Eastern Shipbuilding hit hard by Hurricane Michael

Hurricane Michael’s path brought its eye wall with category 4 winds over the Eastern Shipbuilding Group at Panama City, Fla., where company officials now are working to make sure workers and their families are safe and begin a recovery.
