Hutchison Ports enhances Thai box terminal with new cranes

Hutchison Ports Thailand’s Terminal D received four additional remote controlled super post panamax quay cranes and eight remote controlled rubber tyred gantry cranes, all electrically powered, on 18 December.

This batch of quay cranes will be the largest in Thailand, have an outreach of 24 rows, and be capable of handling boxes stacked up to 10 high above the vessel deck.

Hutchison Ports deploys Q-trucks at Laem Chabang

Hutchison Ports Thailand says it is the first port operator in Thailand and among the first in the world to acquire and test autonomous trucks at its Terminal D facility at Laem Chabang Port, Chon Buri.
