The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) provided evidence the global automobile manufacturing industry is recovering from the economic crash it suffered as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, reporting its vehicle volumes grew 7% year-over-year in its first fiscal quarter.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way Americans shop. And Jacob Horsely of Cushman & Wakefield believes now that consumers are comfortable ordering on sites from Amazon to Zappos, they won’t go back to brick-and-mortar shopping.

ONE addition equals eight new South American destinations for JAXPORT

The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) said its customers now have access to a new container service to the West Coast of South America through Ocean Network Express (ONE).

Career Tracks: Former Mack president joins startup TrovaCV

Denny Slagle, who retired as executive vice president of Volvo Group and president of Mack Trucks in 2018, has joined electric vehicle startup Trova Commercial Vehicles as senior adviser.

JAXPORT records bunkering first for liquefied natural gas

The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) hosted the first foreign-flagged vessel to bunker liquefied natural gas (LNG) at a U.S. port.
