Η κυβέρνηση της Κροατίας προχώρησε στην απομάκρυνση ολόκληρου του διοικητικού συμβουλίου της κρατικής ακτοπλοϊκής εταιρείας Jadrolinija, έπειτα από έρευνα για ένα δυστύχημα που στοίχισε τη ζωή σε τρία μέλη του πληρώματος και τραυμάτισε σοβαρά ένα ακόμη.

Το περιστατικό σημειώθηκε στις 11 Αυγούστου 2024, όταν το πλοίο Lastovo, κατασκευής του 1969, έφτασε στο λιμάνι του Mali Lošinj, στα βόρεια της χώρας.
