Kogas Orders LNG Bunker From HHI

According to an article published in LNG Prime, South Korean LNG importing giant Kogas said it has ordered a liquefied natural gas bunkering vessel from compatriot Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Shipbuilding Contract

Kogas said in a statement its newly established LNG bunkering unit signed the shipbuilding contract with HHI on February 24. The vessel will have a capacity of 7,500 cbm.

BPA forms LNG bunkering JV with KOGAS

Busan Port Authority (BPA) has formed a joint venture with the government-backed LNG procurement agency Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), to supply LNG bunkers in Busan Port, with the long-term expectation that demand from container shipping will substantially increase.
