Finnish port equipment manufacturer Konecranes has acquired the business of German crane and service supplier Kocks Kranbau with the value of the purchase, which was closed in April, remaining disclosed.

Kocks Kranbau GmbH was established in early 2023 following the insolvency of the parent company Kocks Ardelt Kranbau GmbH, a port and shipyard crane manufacturer. Kocks Kranbau’s main operations are based in the German cities of Bremen, Hamburg and Oberhausen.

SC Ports to upgrade its crane fleet with two hybrid RTGs

South Carolina Ports (SC Ports) purchased two Konecranes hybrid rubber-tired gantry cranes (RTGs) for their inland port operation in Greer in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Konecranes receives RTG crane order for new box terminal in Colombia

Εight rubber-tired gantry (RTG) cranes will enhance the cargo handling capabilities of a new container terminal in Puerto Antioquia, Colombia.
