Damen brings W&O on board F126 frigate program

W&O Supply, one of the largest suppliers of valves, actuated valves, piping systems, and speciality products to the marine market, reports that W&O Europe has reached a framework agreement with Damen Naval to supply manual valves, filters, and other specialized instrumentation for Germany’s F126 frigate construction program.

Damen Naval is the main contractor for the four F126 frigates, which are being built for the German Navy at shipyards in Hamburg, Kiel and Wolgast.

W&O in three-year valve supply agreement with Vard

Leading maritime industry valves, actuation and instrumentation supplier W&O has reached a three-year supply agreement with Norway-based ship designer and builder Vard, a member of the Fincantieri Group. Under the agreement, W&O will provide technical support to the design and engineering departments of Vard, covering all valve challenges on newly built vessels. This will include delivering valves, actuation and instrumentation packages to Vard in Norway, Romania, and Vietnam.

W&O Supply adds low-leakage valves to its portfolio

W&O Supply has partnered with Broen Clorius Controls to add Clorius low-leakage valves to its portfolio of marine valves, actuated valves, pipes and engineered solutions. The new product is an ultra-low leak three-way valve especially designed for the HT cooling water systems on two-stroke main engines.
