Kuenz wins major contract for automated gantry cranes

Kuenz GmbH has secured a major contract from ÖBB to deliver five automatic gantry cranes with remote control stations to the TSA INFRA terminals in Vienna South, Wels, and Wolfurt by the end of 2027.

This project represents one of the largest intermodal business orders in Europe in recent years.

ABB, Kuenz secure record crane order for Dutch container terminal

Global engineering company ABB and Austria-based crane manufacturer Kuenz have secured the largest single order for Automatic Stacking Cranes (ASC) ever placed by a European terminal.

Kuenz, ABB to enhance Gdansk new box terminal with automated crane equipment

Kuenz, an Austrian crane manufacturer, has acquired a large order for 20 automated side-loading stacking cranes for the new Baltic Hub T3 terminal, which is presently under development.

The order was signed in September 2022, and the initiative is expected to extend and expand Kuenz and PSA’s long-standing collaboration.

New cranes to increase Antwerp’s Europa Terminal capacity and reduce emissions

Belgian terminal operator PSA Antwerp has signed an agreement with Austrian crane manufacturer Kuenz and global technology provider in electrification and automation ABB to order 14 new automated stacking cranes (ASCs) for Europa Terminal at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges.
