Sovcomflot and Total Concludes to a Time Charter Agreement

PAO Sovcomflot (SCF Group) and Total have concluded a time charter agreement for up to 7 years for a newbuilding 174,000-cbm LNG carrier, to be owned and operated by SCF, with options for up to two additional vessels, says an article published in Marine Insight.

Wärtsilä’s New Compact Reliq Reliquefaction Plant for LNG Carriers

  • The technology group Wärtsilä’s recently introduced Compact Reliq reliquefaction plant will be installed in two new LNG Carrier vessels for Norway-based Knutsen OAS Shipping.
  • The ships are to be built at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in South Korea.
  • The order, which includes an option for an additional two vessels, was placed in November 2020.
