President Lech Kaczyński LNG terminal to be expanded

Polskie LNG signed a contract for the extension of the existing LNG regasification installation with additional SCV (Submerged Combustion Vaporiser) regasification devices. As a result, the current regasification capacity of the President Lech Kaczyński LNG Terminal will be increased 50%.

The contract regards the design of the installation and assembly of LNG regasifier and cryogenic pumps. This investment aims to extend the functionality and technical capabilities of the terminal in Świnoujście.

ADNOC inks deal to convert LNG tanker for FSU charter

ADNOC L&S along with Atlantic Gulf & Pacific (AG&P) shake their hand and inked a 15-year agreement concerning a floating LNG storage unit in Karaikal, India. Japan’s first LNG-fueled vessel completes 100th LNG bunkering

According to a recent statement, the tugboat Sakigake, Japan’s first LNG-fueled vessel, was supplied with LNG as fuel for the 100th time since its delivery in 2015.

In fact, the LNG bunkering was conducted safely and efficiently from a tank truck at the No. 5 quay of Shinko, Yokohama.

The vessel is owned by NYK and operated by Shin-Nippon Kaiyosha, an NYK Group company.

Bahrain LNG terminal construction successfully completed

Bahrain LNG recently announced that completed the mechanical construction and commissioning of its first LNG Terminal located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. For the records, the terminal was developed on a PPP basis.

The customer is paying Bahrain LNG as of completion and is sending out the last of the commissioning cargo so that the FSU Bahrain Spirit can redeploy on short‐term trade as intended.

Sempra LNG, Saudi Aramco sign IPPA for Port Arthur LNG

On 6 January, Sempra LNG along with Aramco Services Company officially announced their collaboration, as they inked an interim project participation (IPPA) for the Port Arthur LNG export project  which is under development in Jefferson County, Texas.
