Navios Inks Long-term Charters for 5 Boxships

Navios Maritime Partners L.P., secured new long-term time charters for five containerships,  says a press release published on their website.

About the contract

The New York-listed firm has fixed Navios Miami, Navios Vermillion, Navios Destiny, Navios Nerine and Navios Magnolia to undisclosed clients for 35–36 months at an average rate of approximately $41,723 net per day.

The charters will commence between September and December, upon the expiration of the current employment of the vessels.

Yang Ming’s Optimistic Outlook for H1 2021

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp gave an optimistic outlook for the first half of this year on expectations that container shipping rates would remain high, reports TaipeiTimes.

Petronav Carriers Takes Long-term Charter of New MR Tanker

Petronav Carriers, a subsidiary of Delaware-based Petrogress, has added a 38,000 dwt FKAB MR tanker to its fleet via a long-term charter for operations in West Africa, reports Splash247.
