Macao’s containerized cargo by land up in H1

Macao’s containerized cargo by land increased by 21.6 percent in the first half of 2019, while containerized cargo by air and by sea both fell, the special administrative region’s statistic service said here on Friday, August 9.

The latest report from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) showed that in the first half year, gross weight of containerized cargo by land increased by 21.6 percent year-on-year to 8,823 tonnes, and laden containers surged by 37.0 percent to 1,560.
