Major Manila ports’ congestion significantly decreased

Yard utilization at the Port of Manila (POM) and the Manila International Container Port (MICP) has significantly reduced as result of the continuing efforts of the Bureau of Customs to provide facilitated trade environment to its stakeholders.

MICP taking steps to ease Manila port issues

Amid congestion woes, the Manila International Container Port (MICP) on Wednesday, Feb 27, said the management is taking measures to ease port problems.

Lapena: “Empty containers not causing any congestion at MICP”

Empty containers staying at the container yard of the Manila International Container Port (MICP) are not causing any congestion, Customs Commissioner Isidro Lapeña said Tuesday, debunking port congestion reports.
