Mark-It Express grows fleet with Clean Car Connexion purchase

Mark-It Express president and vice president, the company just acquired its third logistics property

Mark-It Express Logistics, an intermodal trucking and freight brokerage company based just outside Chicago, announced Monday that it acquired the operating assets of Joliet, Illinois-based Clean Car Connexion for an undisclosed sum. It’s the third acquisition in as many years for Mark-It as the company looks to grow its operations beyond the Midwest. Republic Partners LLC advised Mark-It on the deal and arranged financing for the transaction.

Mark-It Express Logistics makes second acquisition this year

Mark-It Express Logistics

Growing intermodal and freight broker Mark-It Express Logistics has made its second acquisition this year, expanding its fleet to approximately 200 vehicles in the Chicagoland area.

Mark-It has acquired Maywood, Illinois-based Sava Transportation. Terms were not disclosed. Republic Partners, LLC and Horwood Marcus & Berk Chartered advised Mark-It on the deal.
