Suderman & Young orders further tugboat at Master Boat Builders

Master Boat Builders, Inc., Coden, Ala., has booked a contract to build a new tugboat for Suderman & Young Towing Company of Houston, Texas. The shipyard currently has three tugs under construction of a different design for Suderman & Young.

Port of Portland seeks shipyard proposals for dredge tender

Seattle-headquartered naval architecture firm Glosten reports that the Port of Portland, Ore., is soliciting proposals from qualified shipyards for the construction of a new dredge tender to replace the W.L. Williams.
