The U.S. Coast Guard has released video showing the medevac of two men from a liftboat approximately 40 miles offshore from Marsh Island, La., Sunday.

An aircrew aboard successfully hoisted a 65-year-old woman from a large container ship in the Straits who was experiencing a medical emergency. She was then transferred to a hospital in Port Angeles.

A Malaysian man who faced a sudden medical emergency onboard a Singapore flagged ship near Mumbai was rescued by the Indian Navy on Thursday.

The person in question suffered a digestive problem on the ship which ultimately caused breathing difficulties for him. Hence immediate rescue and treatment were needed. on board a vessel near the Mumbai coast. The 34-year-old apparently had gastroesophageal reflux.

The Coast Guard medevaced a crewmember from the offshore support vessel Citation approximately seven miles offshore Corpus Christi, Texas, Thursday afternoon.

Coast Guard Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders received a request for medevac for a 45-year-old male who was experiencing arm pain and shortness of breath. Watchstanders consulted with the duty flight surgeon who recommended the medevac.
