GEODIS and Prologis activate rooftop solar project in Mexico to advance sustainability goals

GEODIS, in partnership with Prologis, has launched a 619-kilowatt rooftop solar installation at Prologis Park Grande, Building 3, in Tepotzotlán, one of Mexico’s key industrial zones.

The system is expected to generate approximately 892 megawatt-hours of low-carbon electricity annually, contributing to both companies’ environmental commitments.

Trucks make January run for the border at railroads’ expense

North American transborder freight carried by railroads declined in January from the same month the previous year even as shipments hauled by trucks increased by double digits.

Overall transborder freight totaled $134.4 billion in January, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) said, an increase of 8.2% from January 2024.
